Cadillac group to make use of Ferrari engines on F1 debut

Ferrari will provide engines to the brand new Cadillac group if its entry is authorized for the 2026 Formulation 1 season.

The US model has and to construct its personal engine “at a later time”.

Cadillac, a part of Basic Motors, has agreed with Ferrari to purchase buyer engines and gearboxes till its personal power-unit is prepared, which isn’t anticipated to be earlier than 2028.

Vasseur stated having two clients – Haas will proceed with Ferrari – “brings advantages by way of technical growth inside Ferrari”.

Cadillac’s entry is but to obtain official ratification from F1, however that is anticipated to be a formality.
