Alunni Bravi lands wide-ranging McLaren function after Sauber exit

Ex-Sauber managing director and workforce consultant Alessandro Alunni Bravi has joined McLaren within the workforce’s newly created function of chief enterprise affairs officer.

Alunni Bravi will report on to McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown and as a part of his new remit will head up McLaren’s driver improvement programme.

He’ll begin his new job on 1 February 2025.

In a workforce assertion launched on Thursday, McLaren introduced that Alunni Bravi’s function may also embody authorized affairs, driver contract administration and what it calls “rights holders/governing physique administration”.

“McLaren is a workforce I’ve been an enormous fan of my entire life, and it subsequently sparks particular feelings personally to have the chance to now work with such a tremendous group of individuals,” stated Alunni Bravi, who labored at Sauber from 2017 till the beginning of this yr.

With Alunni Bravi heading up its younger driver programme, Stephanie Carlin has been transferred to what McLaren’s assertion referred to as “further tasks inside System 1, persevering with to report into [team principal] Andrea Stella”.
