We do not know the place the 4 finalists will end in Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Sequence

However we all know the place they will begin.

Championship weekend rolled alongside Saturday at Phoenix Raceway and Cup qualifying is over, setting the beginning lineup for Sunday. In his closing Cup Sequence race as a full-time driver, Martin Truex Jr. will start in pole place.

4 drivers of playoffs (every spherical was three races) and with an opportunity to win the Cup championship — Joey Logano (Crew Penske), William Byron (Hendrick Motorsports), Tyler Reddick () and defending champion Ryan Blaney (Crew Penske).

And this is your every day reminder: None of them has to win Sunday’s race to turn out to be the champ, however merely end forward of the opposite three, as Blaney did final 12 months when he completed second behind Ross Chastain.
