Kevin Magnussen has withdrawn from Friday’s operating on the Sao Paulo Grand Prix due to sickness and can be changed at Haas by reserve driver Oliver Bearman.
The US-based workforce introduced the swap on Friday earlier than first apply on the Interlagos circuit.
The transfer means Briton Bearman will participate in Friday’s dash qualifying session and the shorter dash race on Saturday.
A spokesperson for Haas stated it was “too early” to know whether or not Magnussen would have recovered in time to participate in qualifying for the grand prix itself in a while Saturday.
It is going to be Bearman’s second aggressive look for Haas in 5 grands prix after the 19-year-old changed Magnussen when the Dane was banned from the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in September for accruing too many penalty factors on his licence.
Bearman, who will race for Haas in 2025, scored a degree in Baku with a Tenth-placed end.
